1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your", "User") and Bridico ("Bridico", "we", "us", "our"). By installing the Bridico Chrome Extension, creating an account, or using any of our Services (as defined below), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Bridico.

"Services" means the Bridico Chrome Extension, our website(s), AI text processing features, and any related tools or services we provide.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Bridico. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Bridico is a business productivity tool and is not intended for use by children.

3. Account Registration & Security

To use Bridico, you must sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activities that occur under your Bridico account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information through your Google account sign-in.
  • Notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Not share your account access or allow others to use Bridico under your credentials.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to safeguard your credentials.

4. Description of the Service

Bridico is a Chrome Extension that provides AI-powered text enhancement features. When you highlight text on any webpage and use the right-click context menu or a keyboard shortcut, Bridico processes your selected text (and, where applicable, surrounding page context) through AI to generate enhanced, rewritten, expanded, summarized, or grammar-corrected versions.

Bridico also builds a personalized "Profile" by periodically analyzing your writing patterns to deliver context-aware results. You have full control to view, edit, or delete this Profile at any time within the extension.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Bridico only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Illegal or harmful content: Use Bridico to generate, distribute, or enhance content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or that promotes violence or harm.
  • Fraud or deception: Use Bridico to impersonate others, generate fraudulent documents, deceive individuals or organizations, or create misleading content designed to manipulate.
  • Spam or abuse: Use Bridico for mass automated messaging, spam generation, or any form of unsolicited bulk communication.
  • Circumvention: Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of Bridico, its AI models, or any related systems.
  • System interference: Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the proper functioning of Bridico's servers, APIs, or infrastructure, including through excessive automated requests.
  • Unauthorized access: Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, other users' accounts, or systems connected to Bridico.
  • Resale: Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Bridico's Services or AI-generated outputs as a standalone product or service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms.

6. AI-Generated Content

Bridico uses third-party AI models (provided by Anthropic) to process and generate text. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • No guarantees: AI-generated outputs are provided "as is." While we strive for high quality, AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate content. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding whether to use any AI-generated output.
  • Your responsibility: You are fully responsible for any content you create, publish, or send using Bridico's AI features. Bridico does not endorse, verify, or assume liability for AI-generated content.
  • No professional advice: AI outputs do not constitute legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals for important decisions.
  • Content ownership: You retain ownership of the text you input into Bridico. You are granted a non-exclusive right to use the AI-generated outputs for your personal or business purposes, subject to these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Bridico Chrome Extension, website, branding, design, code, and documentation (excluding your content and AI-generated outputs) are owned by Bridico. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services as permitted by these Terms and your subscription plan.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on any part of Bridico's proprietary materials without our prior written consent.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

Bridico offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, Polar.sh.

  • Free tier: New users receive a limited number of free AI requests. Once exhausted, a paid subscription is required to continue using AI features.
  • Billing: Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected). By subscribing, you authorize Polar.sh to charge your selected payment method at the applicable rate.
  • Price changes: We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. We will provide reasonable notice of any price increase.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Polar.sh billing portal (accessible from within the Bridico extension). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will retain access to paid features until then. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
  • Refunds: Due to the nature of AI processing (costs are incurred per request), refunds are generally not available. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at tom@bridico.com and we will review your case.

9. Usage Limits & Fair Use

Each subscription plan includes a defined number of AI requests per billing period. We reserve the right to enforce usage limits to prevent abuse and ensure fair access for all users. Excessive automated use, bot-driven requests, or activity patterns that suggest abuse may result in temporary rate limiting or account suspension.

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of Bridico is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy. Key points include:

  • We process your selected text and page context only when you explicitly trigger an AI feature.
  • Your data is transmitted securely to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models.
  • You can delete your prompt history, Profile, and account data at any time from within the extension.

11. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time via Settings > Danger Zone > Delete My Account within the Bridico extension. Account deletion permanently removes your prompt history, AI profile, feedback ratings, preferences, and subscription data. For legal and support purposes, we retain a minimal record consisting of your user ID, display name, and email address. Your authentication login remains so you can return and start fresh at any time. For full removal of your retained identity record, email us at tom@bridico.com.

12. Third-Party Services

Bridico integrates with and relies on the following third-party services. Your use of Bridico is also subject to their respective terms:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI): Provides AI text processing. Subject to Anthropic's Terms of Service.
  • Google (OAuth): Provides authentication. Subject to Google's Terms of Service.
  • Supabase: Provides hosting, database, and authentication infrastructure.
  • Polar.sh: Provides subscription billing and payment processing.

We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services. If a third-party service experiences downtime or changes its terms, Bridico's functionality may be affected.

13. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services. Bridico may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, update, or discontinue any feature of the Services at any time.
  • Change the AI model or provider used for text processing.
  • Update usage limits, pricing tiers, or feature availability.

For material changes that significantly affect your use of the Services, we will provide reasonable notice via email or in-app notification.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRIDICO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Services will meet your specific requirements; (b) the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (c) AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose; or (d) any defects in the Services will be corrected.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BRIDICO, ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO BRIDICO IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bridico and its founders, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you create, publish, or distribute using Bridico's AI features.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, is harmful to other users or third parties, or is otherwise objectionable. Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the Services is immediately revoked.
  • You must cease all use of the Bridico Chrome Extension.
  • We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and data retention practices.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account from within the extension or by contacting us at tom@bridico.com.

18. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at tom@bridico.com. We will work in good faith to resolve the matter within 30 days.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or applicable law. We will post the updated Terms here and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes that affect your rights or obligations, we will notify you by email or via a prominent in-app alert. Your continued use of Bridico after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

20. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bridico regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, or failures of third-party services.
